Journalism is a profession as much as it is a journey in my life.

Writing the perfect story on deadline, breaking news, capturing great images, producing video and building audiences in the nuanced world of online journalism are daily challenges rewarding my career.

I created this website to serve as my portfolio and showcase my versatile multimedia journalism skills.

I have over eight years of daily newspaper journalism experience. I spent the first six years of my career covering Minnesota sports at all levels while I evolved into to a modern digital journalist.

My work has appeared in media throughout the country. My photography has been featured in the pages of the New York Times, online in the Wall Street Journal and in other prominent national publications.
